Advertisement for Bid - Water Treatment Plant Improvements

City of Park Hills, Missouri, 9 Bennett Street, Park Hills, MO 63601

Separate sealed bids for the WATER TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVEMENTS which includes the removal and replacement of the building’s siding and roofing along with select interior painting will be received by the City of Park Hills, Missouri at the office of the City Clerk, 9 Bennett Street, Park Hills, MO 63601 until 2:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, February 20, 2020, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING: A mandatory pre-bid meeting for all Contractors wishing to bid on the project will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 6, 2020, at the City of Park Hills’ City Hall. The meeting will be held in the City Court Room in the back of the building. A tour of the water treatment plant site will be given after the meeting.
The contract documents, including, Information for Bidders, Bid Form, Agreement, Construction Drawings, Project Manual, Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the following locations:

Copies of the specifications and contract documents may be obtained from the office of the Engineer listed above, upon payment of Seventy Five Dollars ($75.00), which is nonrefundable. Checks shall be made payable to Taylor Engineering, LLC.
Complete digital project bidding documents are available for a non-refundable fee of Forty Dollars ($40.00) by going to Taylor Engineering’s website, and clicking on Current Projects and Bid Docs.
Wage rates paid on construction work for this project shall be at least equal to the prevailing wage rates as determined by the State of Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations.
The Owner hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
The City (owner) reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive all informalities not involving price, time or changes in work.
