Notice From Park Hills Fire Department Regarding Department Operations and COVID-19

With all the new and uncertainty going on with COVID-19, the Park Hills Fire Department would like to reassure the public that we are still responding to calls for service.

We will be monitoring the news and updates for changes and responding accordingly. Please bear with us as this is a new type of situation for all of us. There are a lot of uncertainties and we're all in this together and we will get through this together. We are working with St. Francois County Ambulance District and will continue to assist them with calls. We will continue to follow the Health Department's and Ambulance District's recommendations.

First, please tell the dispatcher if you have a fever or symptoms. This will allow the responding staff to protect themselves so we can be ready to help the next person in need.

Secondly, we will adjust our response to the various calls we handle to keep staff as safe as possible. For many call types, we will utilize the minimal number of staff to asses the situation and adjust accordingly. Rest assured, we will continue to provide the service you need and deserve, but we need to do our best to keep staff as safe as possible to ensure we are able to continue to respond as needed.

For non-emergency calls, please call 573-431-3131. For emergency calls please call 911 like usual. Until further notice, the firehouse is closed to the public as well as friends and family of the firefighters. Thank you for your cooperation and patience. These steps are necessary for the health and safety of the Park Hills Fire Department staff.
