About Park Hills Community Development
The Community Development Director oversees building code enforcement and zoning concerns within the City of Park Hills. Applications for building permits are available at City Hall.
Inspections may be requested by calling the City offices during regular business hours. Repeated inspections of unsatisfactory conditions may incur increasing inspection fees.
City Code Chapter 400andCode Chapter 500govern Park Hills building and zoning issues. The city comprehensive plan indicates how the community can continue consistent development in the future. Policy Regarding Plan Requirements
The City of Park Hills has adopted the 2012 International Building Codes. The City of Park Hills also has the 2011 National Electrical Code in effect, applicable to all property within the city limits. All residential property is subject to the provisions of the 2012 edition of the International Residential Code.
Community Development staff has plan requirements available in convenient brochures at the City Hall entry foyer. A list of occupancy requirements and a list of many of the most requested forms needed for Community Development services may be found on our Forms & Applications Page.
Please Note:Picture ID is required when applying for permits to protect your property and verify that the permit is issued to a specific person.
Building Permit fees for additions or substantial alteration of the above-listed building types shall be based on the applicable fee schedule for new construction.

$30.00 - Accessory structure permits include, but are not limited to, pools, portable & permanent buildings, carports - both permanent & portable, pergolas, gazebos, decks not attached to the main structure, and fences.
