This roadside park is a great place to sit and relax. It has a monument dedicated to "Veterans of all Wars". The park provides a shady, attractive resting site near the grave of the infamous Civil War Bushwacker and Confederate Army Major, Sam Hildebrand.
Eagle Scout candidate, Drew Marler, of Boy Scout Troop 423, constructed a gazebo at Veteran's Park as an honor to all those from our community who have served in our Armed Forces.
