About The Senior Nutrition Center
The Park Hills Senior Center delivers meals on wheels to approximately 185 homebound seniors (60+) in the Park Hills, Desloge, Leadington, & Leadwood areas. They also offer onsite meals daily at the center.
The Park Hills Senior Nutrition Center encourages seniors to come to join them for lunch at the center. It is a great way to make new friends, enjoy arts, crafts, games, and entertainment while enjoying a wonderful meal.
The Park Hills Senior Nutrition Center is the proud recipient of several awards, including:
- The SEMO AAA Star Award Presented to Director, Holly Buxton and Volunteer, Rose Ball
- A Two-Time Winner of the States Innovative Idea Award
- A Two-Time Winner of the Citizen of the Year Award & The 110% Award
These awards were earned thanks to the excellent seniors, volunteers, & staff who all care deeply about the Senior Center Program.
Meals at the Senior Nutrition Center
The Park Hills Senior Center offers lunchtime meals Monday through Friday, for dine-in, carry-out, or delivery. Deliveries are made via the "Meals on Wheels"* program to qualifying senior citizens.
A donation of $3 per meal is suggested for seniors 60 and over with a suggested donation of $5 per meal for those 59 and under.

The Park Hills Senior Nutrition Center host various events including music provided by several different local groups, blood pressure and blood sugar tests, monthly birthdays, "Silliness with Southbrook", "Blood Pressure with Clark's", monthly parties, and more.

The Senior Center can always use volunteers! They need route drivers, packers, and desk help.
Staff members and volunteers constantly strive to make the center a warm, friendly place to visit. Seniors who visit the center have made lasting friendships and always look forward to the center's activities.
